Flowers…the theme for the evening of September 22nd 2016. By the time the meeting came to a close a veritable bouquet had been created, held in a basket woven together with words from speakers from around our fair planet. Faqir and Paurnima started the evening with their Icebreaker speeches, followed by Zainab, Tarun and Anji. The speeches were rich, diverse and well presented….and highly atmospheric as Anji closed with a tale of the Battle of Culloden fought on bleak and misty moors. I must say that I continue to be impressed by the quality of Three Kings TM speakers!
Table Topics were a blast and closed with Michael resolving to learn to read his own handwriting…large print and bullet points were recommendations from the floor.
New members joining our ranks were Gretel, Clement and Fariq. As mentioned Fariq gave his Icebreaker speech this evening. Gretel and Clement have elected to give their first speeches at the next meeting and I for one am looking forward to that. It’ll be good to see you there too!
